Kuakata (Bengali: কুয়াকাটা) is a town known for its panoramic sea beach.It is in southeastern Bangladesh and is the number two tourist destination in the country. Kuakata beach is a sandy expanse 18 kilometres (11 mi) long and 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) wide.From the beach one can have an unobstructed view of both sunrise and sunset over the Bay of Bengal.

Mahasthangarh  ( Bengali :  মহাস্থানগড় ) is one of the earliest urban archaeological sites so far discovered in  Bangladesh . The village Mahasthan in  Shibganj   thana  of  Bogra District  contains the remains of an ancient city which was called Pundranagara or Paundravardhanapura in the territory of  Pundravardhana . A  limestone slab bearing six lines in  Prakrit  in  Brahmi script , discovered in 1931, dates Mahasthangarh to at least the 3rd century BC. The fortified area was in use until the 8th century AD. Bandarban  ( Bengali  :  বান্দরবান ), is a district in South-Eastern  Bangladesh  , and a part of the  Chittagong Division .  It is one of the three hill districts of Bangladesh and a part of the  Chittagong Hill Tracts , the others being  Rangamati District   and  Khagrachhari District . Bandarban city is the headquarter of the Bandarban district. Bandarban district (4,479 km²) is not only the most remote district of the country, but also is the least populous (population 292,900).
